Hi, I’m Emma, the owner (and proud boss lady!) behind Emma Shelton Photography.

I live in the lovely village of Saltaire, West Yorkshire, with my husband Tim and our amazing boys, Jude and Sonny. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me at home with a good coffee, enjoying great food, wandering through the woods with my family, heading to the seaside, sipping a fancy cocktail, or indulging in a slice of cake.

Photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I studied it at university back in 2001 and have worked in studios ever since. In 2014, while pregnant with Jude, I decided to take the leap and start my own business — and I’ve never looked back! I still can’t quite believe my luck that I get to do what I love every single day.

It’s such a privilege to be welcomed into your homes to capture those first precious moments with your new baby, and I absolutely love greeting families at my Shipley studio — especially when it’s one of your first outings with your little one. Watching your babies grow and seeing families return for milestone sessions means the world to me.
