Having two boys of my own, I know how quickly they change and grow, especially in the first few weeks. You'll probably be in a tired, loved up bubble, so my home newborn shoots are as relaxed and unobtrusive as possible. Your baby is 100% in charge, so we can fit in breaks for feeds and snuggles when needed and go with the flow.

Toddlers and older kids usually prefer being at home to being in the studio for a photo shoot, they get to show me their stuff and this helps me to make a connection and have fun with them to get the best shots.

When Do I Need to Book?

If you would like a newborn shoot at home, it's best to book when you are still pregnant, any time after your 20 week scan is plenty of notice for me. I will pencil your due date into the diary, so I have a rough idea when we will be doing the shoot, give or take a couple of weeks either side! You then let me know as soon as little one arrives and I will send you over my availability in the first couple of weeks.

If you are booking for a special occasion, it's best to give me as much notice as possible. If you are booking a shoot for older children, I can usually fit you in if you get in touch around three to four weeks in advance. I do occasionally have availability at short notice if a customer has had to reschedule so it's worth asking if you are a bit last minute

My Baby has Already Arrived, Can You Still Fit Me In?

Cosy home shoots are great for all ages, so don't worry if you have missed the first couple of sleepy weeks. Just get in touch and I will get you booked in as soon as I can. We may not get sleepy baby photos, but we could see a little smile, gorgeous big eyes and little personalities starting to shine through.

How Long do Sessions Last?

At Home sessions last for approx 1-2 hours – if you have a newborn, shoots take up to two hours to allow plenty of time for feeding and settling baby.

How Long Will I Have to Wait to See the Photos?

Your photographs will be ready to view, in a password protected online gallery, three weeks after your photo shoot.

How Much Does It Cost

Cosy Home Shoots - £250

Home shoots take around 1- 1.5 hours, you will receive 30+ high resolution images, edited in my style, with permission to print for yourselves and family however you like. A £50 booking fee is taken to secure the shoot, the remaining balance of £200 is due at the shoot.
